This lovely tartan lamp shade was created using our customers own material to match her settee ~ so pretty!
We made the sails on this model boat lamp and even did the sewn rigging too!
Our customer needed a bespoke shade size and carrier for her antique lamp base - and she was thrilled to have a new lease of life for the lamp.
This helix shade has to be one of the most complicated commissions we have ever received! The shade is constructed using two circular sheets which are then wound around and secured top and bottom. The top and bottom securing pockets were created using our sewing machine ~ and to say that this was a little nerve racking is an understatement.
Our customer was thrilled with the lamp transformation and most certainly now have a unique floor lamp in their home!
